So the 4th of July BBQ wasn't all that bad. A couple of my cousins tried to kill each other over a stupid hamburger, but that's nothing new. They are always trying to kill each other for one stupid reason or another.
I got to go the carnival today. I had fun, but I would have had a better time if Eric could have come with me. I begged his parents to let him go. They wouldn't let him. It was so sad. I was walking to my car, which is fixed now...thank God, and I saw him staring out his window. He looked so depressed. I wish I could talk to him, but the way his parents are talking, I probably won't get to til school starts.
Josh's trial is next week. I have to testify so I get to miss school. Any other time, that would be a good thing, but since I have this "graduate early from school" goal, I really don't want to miss anything. I wish he would have plead not guilty and we wouldn't have to do this. He was always a stubborn asshole.

I hope the trial goes in your favor. haha, I don't remember if we've ever had a family BBQ, but even when its just a bunch of friends, something always has to happen. at least it was just over a hamburger and not something ... breakable

Good luck at Josh's trial. I know how stressful that type of stuff can be. When I was a kid I had to testify on how much of a good dad my dad was during his custody battle for my little brother.
How old is Eric? I'm assuming he's under 18 to be able to be told what to do by his parents. I hope they let him out soon.
In response to your comment on my post: That really sucks about your hermit crap. I would have probably kicked that girl for doing that. I'm not a very forgiving person, though. You should consider getting one of these frogs. They're nifty. Just kick anyone that sticks their hand in the water this time =)
