I still don't know what to think about the Eric situation. I'm on the fence about this whole vampire thing, but I'm upset that he ran off and didn't say anything to me. He says he tried to email me. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not so sure. We haven't had a chance to sit down and really talk with everything that's going on. BTW, his parents could be charged with filing a false report but they aren't. Don't know all the details right now.
If this wasn't enough drama to deal with, something happened outside our church building during service. Josh showed up late as usual and while he was trying to duck inside, someone tried to shoot him. It was a drive-by thing. They fired off a couple of shots in his general direction. He wasn't hurt. I think they were just trying to scare him. Josh deserves a lot of things, but being murdered isn't one of them. No one deserves that.
Whoever was trying to teach him a lesson, I'm sorry to say, didn't get the job done. I think he's going to regret that.

There's an unwritten law concerning shootings and gang violence: no shootings on Sundays. Potential for hitting someone who isn't affiliated with the world is multiplied on a sunday morning to the nth(NTH, I SAY) degree.

Are you sure they were going for him? How close to his general direction? Hit the church close or hit a distance away close?

Wow. Poor eric. I don't feel bad for josh however. He has scared by risking killing someone himself (I dont think I have to remind you what he did it to you). I think it's called karma.
