I totally agree with you all. I think my brother should step up and take responsibility for his actions. If it weren't for my ignorant parents, he probably would be doing that right now. My mom had the audacity to tell my aunt to take him instead of me on the Amsterdam trip. She wanted to get him out of the country "just in case".
My parents had a little meeting with her parents at out house and lets just say they weren't too thrilled with my mom's plan either not that I could blame them. Actually they are talking about giving the kid up for adoption. That might be the best solution for all of this. Of course, my mom said they would only agree to that if their daughter went away for awhile. You know like Nicole did.
It's amazing how self-absorbed people are. This poor girl is going to have to carry and deliver this child and then give it away with the possibility of never seeing it again and all they can think about is themselves. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world I'm growing up in. Don't you love it?
The last day of school is on Thursday and I have exams all this week. So, I may not be posting as much as I usually do. Have a great Memorial Day.

Happy Memorial Day Mothers, of all people, should feel for the girl and her unborn child. *shakes head* But there's nothing you can do, eh? Do you know what his
girlfriend wants?

His girlfriend hasn't really said much of anything about the subject. I think she's afraid to.

if she wants, by all means, she should keep it. If she gives it up now, she might regret it later. i read this one manga * i know manga XD* where the girl was raped i think.. and she got pregnant. she gave birth to the baby, and put it out for adoption. later, she really wants to see the baby and la da la la. XD i think its the way that the parents are taking this that the girl is afraid and your brother wont take responsibility. theres a limit on how overprotective parents can be >.<

I have a friend who had her son at 14 years old. She kept him. She also didn't realize she was pregnant until she was 5 months along. She'd kept having her period up until that point. Well, now she has a cute little 4yr old that she wouldn't ever consider giving up. She managed to care for her son even though she was only 14 years old.
It might just be better for the baby if she gave it up... but that would really depend on what she wanted to do. Could she really live with the fact that she has a child in the world and doesn't know where? Could your brother live with that fact? That baby is part his, too. Could he live with not knowing where this child of his is?
Then we got to consider how this child will feel someday. Their are so many people that will be affected, including the life of this unborn child, it's a hard thing to decide.

Yeah, it's fun. I'm going to read up on the events behind this post. Sounds traumatic.

well, giving it up for adoption would be better than what I would have done. I would have opted for abortion.
good luck on your exams

aww I hope she don't put the baby up for adoption unless that's what she really wants to do. Cause if she's doing it cause they all make her it will come back to haunt her later. I feel sorry for her, she is probably having some many emotions going through her right now. Thanks on your comment about my nephew. :)
P.S. I might have missed this part but is your brother and this girl still bf/gf?

Good luck with your exams. I wonder what's going on in the world today.. I hope nothing will go wrong with her pregnancy and for heaven's sake, why must your brother go out of the country for the time being? He shouldn't be going anywhere. Why don't you just go to Amsterdam and have loads of fun?

I think if she's old enough to get pregnant she should be old enough to have some say in how it goes. I think adoption is a great idea but it all depends on whether or not she thinks she's capable of it. Also open adoption should also be considered if she worries about seeing the baby. And not to sound negative but unless she's agaisnt it I think abortion should also be considered if she isn't too far along. Plus most clinics make you talk to a psychologist to make sure you arent being pushed into by anyone (parents, bf, bf's parents etc...). Sometimes it is a good option and this sounds like it could be one of those times.
