Last time I wrote, Eric's old girlfriend had transferred to our school. I was totally worried they were getting back together and I had a reason to be. Apparently, he broke up with her before moving here and she didn't like that too much. She went total psycho stalker on him. She called, email, text messaged him all the time even after we got together. I always wondered why he turned his cell phone off when we did stuff together. Anyways, when Eric stopped responding to her, she devised this little plan to come here. She ran away to find him.

Any other time if a guy told me this after introducing me as a "friend" to an old girlfriend, I wouldn't believe it. However, he showed me the emails and text messages. I listened to some of the voicemails she left him. And to put the candle on the cake, she tried to kill me a few of weeks ago. Yeah...you read that right. Tried to kill me. It seems everyone wants me dead.

Before I knew about all this, we had a bake sale to raise money for senior prom. Eric had set the record straight about our relationship. She didn't too much like that. Somehow she found out I am allergic to cinnamon. I'm not sure if one of my own comrades told her or what. She bought a cookie at the bake sale and "politely" gave it to me, acting like she was trying to make amends for her rudeness. I thought she was being genuine. How wrong was I. If Nurse Richards wasn't in the cafeteria at that moment, I probably would be dead right now. I was only in the hospital for a day or so. She didn't get away with it either. At this very moment, she is in prison for attempted murder and Eric and I are together as we once were. Sweet justice...

Before I forget, a mom update. I found out where my mom really is. She's somewhere in New York with her new boyfriend. That's right. She's been dating a guy who is only a few years older than me for the last six months. He wants to be a model and I'm sure he's using her money to do it. She also expressed she isn't coming back anytime soon. My dad wasn't as upset as I thought he would be about all this. Although, I think he has started his own fling with his secretary. Why is it always the secretary? This one isn't even cute.

You ever meet someone that is like the mirror image of yourself? You know the person who so much like yourself it's scary. I met that girl today...well sort of. The new girl, Kynnedie doesn't look anything like me but totally has my old personality. You remember the one where I sassed everyone, pushed people around and was a full on spoiled princess? That is Kynnedie in a nutshell. I figured with everything that happened with Emily no one would warm up to her, but I was wrong. She fit in just fine with the popular crowd and it was like nothing ever happened. It was really sad. But what's worse is she's Eric's ex-girlfriend! That in itself brought up a lot of questions.

I mean what did he ever see in her? I was like fooling myself most of the day, thinking she was a nice person once upon a time, but no. He claims she is the same person from when he dated her. I just don't get it. He is such a nice guy. How could he be attracted to the spawn of evil? I know I was bad when he first moved here, but I changed. She doesn't look like she's going to be doing that anytime soon.

I wish I was just being paranoid. I wish I could just be secure with myself and our relationship and not worry about any of this, but I can't. Especially, not when she FORCED him to have lunch with her. I tried to be calm about it. You know....telling myself that it was no big deal. But she kept touching him and not in a friendly way. More like a "picking up where we left off" kind of way. I sat there for most of the period being tortured by this until I couldn't take it anymore. I went up to them in a casual manner to see what was going on. He had the audacity to introduce me as his "friend". His friend! I couldn't believe it. He didn't even try to apologize for that later.

I think I've lost him...

LostSoul asked a pretty good question. I don't know why my mom took all of her stuff with her. It's quite possible that she lied to me. She never really said where she was. Just that she was getting much needed therapy. For all I know, she could have been having an affair and ran off with him somewhere. I just don't know. Frankly, I don't care anymore. I know she's my mom, but she wasn't a mom even when she was here. The only thing she ever offered me was criticism. I'll believe her little story if she comes home a new person. Until then I just don't care.

So, I finally talked to my mom. I mean really talked to her. She didn't want to relinquish the information but I have excellent persuasion skills. Basically, she had this whole Britney Spears thing going on, a total meltdown in the middle of a major meeting. Her company thought it would be a good idea for her to take some time off and get "help" which was their polite way of saying "either get help or your fired". I'm sorry she's being forced into therapy but it's probably for the best. I love my mom but she can be a little too much sometimes.

School is going okay. They decided to tear down the old library and build a new one like that is suppose to change what happened. People are still going to walk in there and know why they rebuilt it. They are not replacing the books just the structure. They also installed cameras throughout the school. We also have to practice student gunman drills. I understand their efforts but if a student brings a gun to school intending to kill people, they will still be able to accomplish their mission. They'll just come up with a better plan to beat the system.

One good thing they are doing is a memorial for the students that died. They are holding a contest. Whoever comes up with the best idea wins. Their design is put into action and will be displayed in the courtyard. I've had a chance to see a couple of ideas. Can't wait to see who wins.

She finally called tonight. Said she is at some fancy resort and will be home soon. That's it. No specific details of any kind. I guess it's good to know she's alright, but something is still going on and I don't think it's good. She didn't sound too good on the phone. Generally, a woman is happy when they go to a spa. I don't know.

It's been three days and I still have no clue where my mother is. She left no note, voicemail/text/email messages, or anything. My dad knows where she is but he isn't volunteering the information. I don't get this. I thought she may have had some secret drug problem and my dad shipped her off to some rehab center, but would she take EVERYTHING she owns? I wouldn't think so.

I guess it's a good thing Eric is grounded. With all this going on, I don't think we would have a good Valentine's Day. He did manage to send me a dozen Lilies and a cookie bouquet. No clue how he got all the money for that. I got him a clutch kit for his 1965 Ford Mustang he's fixing up. He was having problems getting one. So, I made a few calls and found one. Not a traditional V-day gift but I'm sure he'll love it. He better...
