Graduation was great! Quite a few surprises. I received a card from my mom with some cash. I haven't really heard from her in a while. She moved to Dallas. Got her own place. She seems to be doing well. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to come to my graduation. Said she had to work. Surprisingly, my dad did come without you know who. Thank God.

He stayed long enough for the ceremony and to give me a little something afterwords. It was cash! I'm not going to say how much here but it was a lot. Wasn't really expecting that from him. My boss gave me the weekend off. So, I went to a few graduation parties with Erik.

In regards to my future plans, I think I've come up with something. Erik got accepted to Hudson University. Totally a big deal. He starts in the Fall. And I think I'll.....go with him. Now, before anyone starts giving me the whole "you shouldn't plan your life around some guy" speech, hear me out. I've always wanted to get out of this town. That was always the plan. With the money I got from graduation plus whatever I save up during the Summer, I can do it. I love Erik and I'd feel better being in the big bad city with someone I know. This hasn't been set in stone yet. Things could change but I still want to do this.

My dad's soon-to-be wedding is turning in to a nightmare. The witch from hell has been going around town, talking on and on about it. How grand it's going to be. She even had the audacity to come in to the store and buy wedding books and bridal magazines (like she has taste). Grrrr....I CAN'T STAND HER!!!

You know what? I'm not going to let her ruin Friday. Friday is my day. That's right. I'm graduating from high school on Friday. I so can't wait. I haven't decided if or where I'm going to college. I don't know how I would even pay for it. I feel like just taking a year off and doing whatever. Maybe travel or come up with a plan to get out of this town forever. I don't know. It's a lot to think about.

In regards to my little Supernatural contest, it seems only two people are duking it out for grand prize. Where is everyone else? Come on now. I said you can cheat which means you don't have to be a fan to play. No one has even answered Question seven yet. I took me three tries to get question eight posted. Stupid phone.

In light of the latest Nutang news, I've decided to bump up the contest starting today. Here are the rules:

1. Everyday a new question will be posted on the "reading" page. Send me a note with your answer.

2. One guess per person. I don't care if you look up the questions on the internet or wherever.

3. The first person with the right answer will get five points. Leaderboard is located on the sidebar.

4. The one with the most points at the end of the month gets the grand prize.

I decided to do a PPS contest during my birthday month. I know people should be giving me gifts on my birthday and not the other way around, but I think this will be fun. I haven't figured out all the details yet which is why the contest won't begin until September. Gives me plenty of time to get things ready. However, this is what I know so far:

* Right now I have about 1300 PPS to give away. This is how it breaks down: 1st place - 1,000 PPS, 2nd - 200 PPS, 3rd - 100 PPS. If you wealthy people want to donate some PPS and bump the prizes up, I certainly won't stop ya. It's not mandatory but a nice thing to do.

* The contest will be a Supernatural theme because I love the show (Dean's a hottie!). Most likely trivia. Personally, I don't care if you look up the answers on the internet or whatever. It'll be about the person who gets the answer first.

That's all I got so far. What do you think? Sound like fun?
